Convert Advanced view and Modules view to use a single base model,
loading the preferences once and then filter and display what they
need with QSortFilterProxyModel derived classes.
Convert the PreferencePane "types" to just strings. This allows
a more straightforward relationship between the "special" modules
that need custom widgets for preference manipulation and it also
removes dependency on preferences_dialog.h for many files.

When Expert preference UAT was promoted to main preference tree
the entry for Filter Buttons was moved and the code for handling
prefs_pane_to_item_ was wrong.
This should be rewritten to a bulletproof solution.

The filter expressions data was shoved into the preference file in a
very loose, non-arrayed form. It's much easier to manage in code
(and for users in a separate file) as a UAT.
The GTK GUI was hacked to use the existing UAT dialog rather than
rewrite the pref_filter_expressions.c to support a UAT. Should
be okay since it's deprecated.

Emitting PacketDissectionChanged from a dialog on can render the main
window unusable on OS X. A workaround for this was added to the
preferences dialog in g8fc2327. Generalize the workaround and use it
elsewhere.
Fix the "Enabled Protocols" action name while we're here.

If a file in the same directory as config.h, e.g. wireshark-qt.cpp
has a #include "config.h", or another header it includes also has
a #include "config.h", then an out-of-tree build, e.g. CMake will
pick up any in-tree config.h and odd things may happen. The correct
form is #include <config.h> which will pick up the out-of-tree
version.
To find this, introduce a deliberate error and then make an out-of-tree
build, noting where it fails and fix that file. If that file includes
other files that still cause the build to fail, set the compiler
to emit the pre-processed version so you can locate the include with
the next errant "config.h". Repeat ad nauseum.
Possibly all includes of "config.h" should be changed to <config.h>
Revert "CMake: Clobber the top-level config.h before we build."
This reverts commit 1f3849ce614aeae5fda742beffe5558e7c2a8b71.

more clearly indicate that it's a copy of a preference value rather than
something we've saved in the preferences file. Update
prefs_pref_to_str() to handle default, stashed, and current prefs.
Create ui/preference_utils.[ch] and move some common routines there. Use
prefs_pref_type_name() in the GTK+ preferences dialog.
Make the "OK" button in the Qt preferences dialog work. We simply write
the prefs and redissect on "OK" and do nothing on "Cancel". This is
intentionally different from the Apply/OK/Cancel behavior in the GTK+
version.
Add a general "emitAppSignal" method to wsApp and use it for packet
dissection and preference changes.
Suggest that we might want to create a WsString class to make conversion
between QStrings, gchar *s, and GStrings easier.

Double-clicking the item's value lets you edit it. Implement the

Fix an apparent memory leak in the hidden column callback.

soon.
