2019-06-26tap: add credentials tap.Dario Lombardo1-0/+6
This new tap collects credentials (username and paassword) from the dissectors. So far, few dissectors have been instrumented: - http (basic auth) - http (header auth) - ftp Others can be instrumented as well using the same technique. Tshark has a new option (-z credentials) and Wireshark a new "tools" menu: the documentation has been updated accordingly. 2019-02-04Qt: Add missing main menu mnemonics.Gerald Combs1-29/+29
The GTK+ main menu had quite a few keyboard mnemonics which were missing in the Qt UI, most notably File → Open, File → Close, and File → Quit. Update ui/qt/main_window.ui from a list generated by running `grep -E 'NULL, +".*_.*"' ui/gtk/main_menubar.c` in a current master-2.6 checkout. BTW, the proper terminology to use here is unclear. 2018-06-01Qt: Rename MainWelcomeRoland Knall1-3/+3
Currently exist two main pages within Wireshark. The first being the main welcome page and the second the packet capture page. The first is called "main_welcome.?" and the second is actually the master_split_ object defined in main_window.h. The first being a QFrame, the second not. In preparation for future developments (dockable windows, multiple capture files), this is being corrected, with the main welcome being renamed as welcome_page as a first step Change-Id: I40703e6ed15ff6f6b62b2a3cf31f5636ac6da9ec Reviewed-on: https://code.wireshark.org/review/27949 Petri-Dish: Roland Knall <rknall@gmail.com> Reviewed-by: Gerald Combs <gerald@wireshark.org> Tested-by: Petri Dish Buildbot Reviewed-by: Roland Knall <rknall@gmail.com>
2018-03-29Extend 'HTTP Referer statistics' to sequence HTTP RedirectsMoshe Kaplan1-4/+4
This patch adds support for sequencing HTTP Redirects. This enables tracking of HTTP-based redirects, which may not have a Referer header. As such, this patch also renames 'HTTP Referer statistics' to 'HTTP Request Sequences' to better reflect the more generic functionality. Note that this does not fully support RFC 3986. An external library like uriparser.github.io may be a better option for efficient, full relative HTTP URL resolution. A Sample PCAP to test functionality is available here: https://wiki.wireshark.org/SampleCaptures?action=AttachFile&do=get&target=http_redirects.pcapng A sample PCAP to demonstrate usefulness is available here: https://www.malware-traffic-analysis.net/2015/08/31/page2.html (examine request to hxxp://lk2gaflsgh.jgy658snfyfnvh.com/service.php) Change-Id: I9edd1a1de86228b0dcb1df9f6f30e24379684321 Reviewed-on: https://code.wireshark.org/review/26679 Petri-Dish: Peter Wu <peter@lekensteyn.nl> Tested-by: Petri Dish Buildbot Reviewed-by: Peter Wu <peter@lekensteyn.nl>

2016-01-13Qt: Update some keyboard shortcuts to match the GTK+ UI.Gerald Combs1-11/+11
As the QKeySequence documentation says, "On Mac OS X, references to "Ctrl", Qt::CTRL, Qt::Control and Qt::ControlModifier correspond to the Command keys on the Macintosh keyboard, and references to "Meta", Qt::META, Qt::Meta and Qt::MetaModifier correspond to the Control keys. Developers on Mac OS X can use the same shortcut descriptions across all platforms, and their applications will automatically work as expected on Mac OS X." This also applies to Qt Creator on OS X. If you assign a shortcut to an action that contains the Control key, it will draw the ^ symbol in the UI but will save "Meta" in the .ui file instead of "Ctrl", in the manner of a well-meaning-but-not-helpful comedy sidekick. This happened for the actions listed below. Replace "Meta" in their shortcuts with "Ctrl". - Unmark all (Ctrl+Alt+M) - Next marked packet (Ctrl+Shift+N) - Previous marked packet (Ctrl+Shift+B) - Show packet times... (Ctrl+Alt+1 - Ctrl+Alt+8) This matches the GTK+ UI on Windows and Linux, and uses the Command key on OS X. If we really want to use the Control key everywhere we can override the action sequences in main_window.cpp. We might want to do this for the "mark" actions since Command+M is the standard key for "Minimize this window". 2015-12-11Qt: restore conversation coloring rule shortcutsPeter Wu1-0/+27
GTK+ had this very useful Ctrl+1 .. Ctrl+9 shortcuts for conversation coloring rules. Add this functionality to Qt too. Ctrl+0 is not ported though, this now means "Restore zoom" which is quite logical. Also, Ctrl+= (shortcut in GTK+) somehow does not work in Qt 5.5.1 (it is detected as Ctrl++ instead).
