2006-05-21change a whole bunch of ethereal into wiresharksahlberg1-2/+2
git-svn-id: http://anonsvn.wireshark.org/wireshark/trunk@18196 f5534014-38df-0310-8fa8-9805f1628bb7
2006-03-02 make the tcp_acked struct a pointer from the tcpd struct since we might ↵sahlberg1-1/+1
need it hanging around. only call subdissectors for packets that are NOT keepalives nor zerowindowprobes. keepalives only contain garbage anyway and zerowindowproes just contain a single byte of incomplete data so whats the point trying to dissect it further. git-svn-id: http://anonsvn.wireshark.org/wireshark/trunk@17443 f5534014-38df-0310-8fa8-9805f1628bb7
2005-09-11Replace tvb_memcpy() calls that extract IPv4 addresses into a guint32,guy1-2/+2
and that extract IPv6 addresses into a "struct e_in6_addr", with tvb_get_ipv4() and tvb_get_ipv6() calls - except for some that we remove, by using proto_tree_add_item(), rather than replacing. Have epan/tvbuff.h include epan/ipv6-utils.h, to define "struct e_in6_addr" (not necessary to declare the tvbuff routines, but including it there means "struct e_in6_addr" is guaranteed to be defined before those declarations, so we don't get compiler complaints if we define it *after* those declarations). git-svn-id: http://anonsvn.wireshark.org/wireshark/trunk@15758 f5534014-38df-0310-8fa8-9805f1628bb7
2005-08-12add missing include to scsisahlberg1-28/+4
change two gmemchunks to se_alloc() for msproxy git-svn-id: http://anonsvn.wireshark.org/wireshark/trunk@15307 f5534014-38df-0310-8fa8-9805f1628bb7
2005-07-30More char -> const char fixesjmayer1-1/+1
Declare some functions static git-svn-id: http://anonsvn.wireshark.org/wireshark/trunk@15158 f5534014-38df-0310-8fa8-9805f1628bb7
2005-06-10just to get things straight: a dissector should *never* do any g_assert() calls!ulfl1-1/+1
in a simple approach, I've replaced all g_assert() and g_assert_not_reached() calls by their exception throwing counterparts DISSECTOR_ASSERT() and DISSECTOR_ASSERT_NOT_REACHED() this will replace application crash by showing a dissector bug, which is the desired behaviour there were some g_assert calls in the protocol registering functions, which might not be acting as expected now, but to be able to simply search for g_assert in the future I've replaced that calls too one g_assert remained, the one when someone throws an unknown exception "into" packet_frame.c, but IMHO this one should remain. git-svn-id: http://anonsvn.wireshark.org/wireshark/trunk@14608 f5534014-38df-0310-8fa8-9805f1628bb7
2005-02-02From Jon Ringle:etxrab1-5/+5
1) Added a setup_frame parameter to conversation_t 2) Used the conversation_t next to maintain a list of conversations with the same src/dest tuple but different setup_frame number. 3) Changed the signature of find_conversation() and conversation_new() to pass in the frame number. 4) Adjusted packet-sdp to select RTP conversation if both m=audio and m=image are present, and T.38 conversation if only m=image is present. I expect that RTP/T.38 dissecting to be better, but I don't have a way to generate T.38 packets. git-svn-id: http://anonsvn.wireshark.org/wireshark/trunk@13243 f5534014-38df-0310-8fa8-9805f1628bb7
2004-08-06From Albert Chin: rename resolv.{ch} to addr_resolv.{ch}, so that anguy1-1/+1
include of <resolv.h> in any system header file gets the system <resolv.h> (needed for builds on Tru64 with GTK+ 1.2[.x]). git-svn-id: http://anonsvn.wireshark.org/wireshark/trunk@11615 f5534014-38df-0310-8fa8-9805f1628bb7
2004-07-18Move dissectors to epan/dissectors directory.gram1-0/+1291
Also move ncp222.py, x11-fields, process-x11-fields.pl, make-reg-dotc, and make-reg-dotc.py. Adjust #include lines in files that include packet-*.h files. git-svn-id: http://anonsvn.wireshark.org/wireshark/trunk@11410 f5534014-38df-0310-8fa8-9805f1628bb7
